Your role

Coordinate and execute aspects of the marketing plan to meet the revenue, booking and marketing targets. Support the team in delivering online and offline campaigns and projects across the line in a timely and coordinated manner.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Assist marketing team in meeting revenue, booking and marketing targets

Assist marketing team in delivery of marketing plan and day to day marketing tasks, including:

  • Administration support and coordination of marketing project to deliver online and offline materials
  • Supporting in-house marketing and design team by coordinating and collating content and assisting with the production of content and design, including: briefing, sourcing images, building, editing, occasional photo editing and final proofing
  • Support Marketing Manager in the management of Google PPC campaigns, including curating required Google AdWords copy, ensuring integrated with SEO strategy
  • Support Marketing Manager in execution of CRM strategy, optimising frequency and touchpoints of database to produce targeted and segmented direct marketing
  • Email marketing - B2C and B2B, source and develop content. Manage broadcast and monitor and report on performance and provide suggestions for optimisation and improved conversion rates
  • Manage email database adding any new partner data
  • Social media enquiry management
  • Organising production of branded items such as stationery and merchandise

Keep all campaign led pages updated and current via editing through a CMS

Set up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities

Ensure all activities are on brand and consistent in quality

Skills and experience

  • Proven track record of using multiple software platforms (ideally marketing software)
  • Organised and experience in juggling several work streams
  • Driven, enthusiastic with a keen passion to produce work quickly
  • Creation of content and copywriting digital and social media
  • Excellent written and verbal English


  • Educated to degree level
  • Previous experience in a marketing department
  • Understanding of basic marketing functions
  • Strong skills in Google Analytics
  • Experience supporting a team in a previous role
  • Marketing and email automation tools (e.g. Mandrill, Mailchimp)
  • Strong personal presence in social media
  • Some experience of managing print work and knowledge of print production processes
  • Ability to carry out simple image manipulation in Photoshop
  • Travel or outdoor brand experience 

Knowledge and qualifications

  • Ideally educated to degree level in Marketing and/or Media-based discipline and/or professional qualification in Marketing or Digital Marketing (e.g. CIM )
  • Positive self-starter who thrives on performance
  • Highly inquisitive nature to do things better/differently
  • Excellent communicator and strong presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English

Salary and benefits

  • £19,000 - £20,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays
  • An employee owned company. Therefore, you will be a shareholder
  • £190 to spend at one of our places each year
